With paint on my face and art in my heart

I work in my Chicago studio making paintings that show what I hone in on in the world around me. Often that world is narrowed down to Chicago and South Carolina, and often I focus on bits and pieces of a place that make me stop and stare.

I like painting so much that I also  teach so that I can talk about it, and I like writing so much that I write about painting on my blog, I Heart Art and in my near-monthly newsletter.
