Classes

I heart art. Painting is my thing, and I eat it up everywhere I can find it. I love to make it, read about it, and encourage other people to try it if they're at all interested. I have a practical approach to painting fueled by my excitement over materials and techniques and the desire to just get it right. If you want to begin painting, dust off your old brushes, or learn new techniques, join me at the big table in my studio for a class that will simply introduce what you want to know about painting.

Themes: I can create a class based on your interest, or you may prefer to choose a popular subject, such as your pet, a Chicago landscape, floral still life, or a favorite vacation spot.

Duration: Classes begin at two hours and can go longer if you'd like.

Occupancy: I offer private group classes up to five people, as well as individual lessons.

Pricing: Prices start at $35 per hour per person for individual lessons. Group pricing (two or more) is a 10% discount on the hourly rate. Class price includes instruction and all supplies: 9 x  12-inch canvas and easel, paint and brushes, palette and solvent, paper and pencils
