He was a part of my Wrigley Field experience just like peanut shells falling into my beer, wearing hat and gloves in May, and singing walk-on songs and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." He's Les, my beer man, and he had been at the job for 52 years. Was he your upper-deck beer man, too?
The original painting is oil on panel and was a gift to Les. Sadly, Cubs fandom lost Les in 2020 to a heart attack. His passing shocked his loyal patrons, who were also his friends.
This is a full-size (15 x 11 in.) reproduction printed on archival paper with a two-inch border around the image, where I have signed and dated it. Total size is 19 x 15.
