Winter Blues: A Painting a Day in February
I made a painting each day in the month of February, and I gave myself a theme and couple parameters to create a unified body of work. I chose the color blue as my theme because of all the wonderful blues in snow shadows, and I painted with a palette knife. When the snow melted (it came and went all month) or I just needed a break from it (so much snow), I turned to still lifes. I wrote a blog post about the experience, too. Read on.
Each painting is an original, one-of-a-kind oil on 1/8-inch panel, either 6 x 6 or 5 x 7 inches. I have framed them in a simple, black wooden floater frame, and prices listed include framing. |
